This week, The Atlas Foundation South Africa handed over a rugby field and posts to Ocean View High School in Cape Town.
This is the first rugby field in the community’s history. The project has been years in the making, with Atlas Chairman and FRC President, Jason Leonard, and Atlas Trustee and FRC Chairman, Michael Whitfield, visiting Ocean View three years ago and deciding to help.
What started out as a baron, sandy field is completely unrecognisable today. With your help, we have been able to transform this into a stunning environment that children of all ages can use.
Atlas coaches have worked with the children throughout the pandemic, ensuring that they stayed fit and were mentally supported during these difficult times.
We know that the pitch and posts will be enjoyed by generations of children to come and look forward to having our first Springbok come through the ranks!
The Front Row Club would like to thank you for being a member. The money we raise can go towards supporting more incredible projects like this around the world.
